Cooperation
BPS as Technology Partner
BPS cooperates with research institutions, public bodies and industry partners. What we bring to each cooperation is the same: validated formulation technology, a simulation framework that reduces field trial effort, and operational experience across multiple climate zones. We are not a concept provider — we contribute technology that is documentable, reproducible and deployable.
You have a requirement
Specialist process needed — BPS provides an existing system or develops a new one.
You have a raw material
Application scenarios needed — BPS translates the raw material into deployable systems.
Two Entry Points
Which starting point describes you?
You have a requirement — no process.
You face a technical challenge in the area of soil, surface, vegetation or infrastructure and are looking for a nature-based process that meets your specific requirements. Either we already have a suitable system in development — or we develop and simulate it for you.
View target groups →You have a raw material — no application scenario.
You have a raw material — from your own production, from a recycling process or from research — and are looking for fields of use where it creates a defined benefit. BPS evaluates the raw material, identifies suitable system contexts and develops formulations that make targeted use of its properties.

Who comes to BPS with a requirement?
Application partners seek nature-based solutions for defined technical challenges. The range extends from infrastructure operators with acute dust problems to research institutions looking to validate new system solutions.

Development Partners
Let us work together
Development partners bring a raw material, a research approach or an idea — and are looking for a partner who knows the path from theory to application. BPS evaluates the potential, identifies suitable system contexts and develops formulations that make targeted use of the respective starting point.
Organic Fibre Product Manufacturers
Companies producing wood, cellulose, natural or recycled fibres seeking application fields in technical revegetation or stabilisation systems.
→Raw material assessment in BPS system context

→Integration of new biopolymers into existing system families
→Rheological characterisation and compatibility testing
→Joint publication and patent development possible
Recycling Companies
Companies with secondary raw material streams from industrial processes — gypsum fibres, mineral residues, organic waste — to be assessed for usability in technical systems.
→Independent material testing and eluate analysis
→System integration following test verification
→Anonymous partner presentation on request
Minerals Industry
Producers and distributors of kaolin, bentonite, perlite, zeolite, talc and other functional minerals seeking to position their raw materials in nature-based system formulations.
→Characterisation of mineral properties in system context
→Development of mineral-based layer systems

Research Institutions & Idea Originators
Research institutions and individuals with a hypothesis, an approach or an early idea, seeking practical validation and an industrial development partner — before a raw material or a complete concept is in place.
→Open initial assessment without defined raw material or system context
→Joint hypothesis development and feasibility testing
→Entry into EU research cooperations from early project phase
Cooperation Process
From Initial Enquiry to System Readiness
Every cooperation begins with a concrete starting point — requirement or raw material. The subsequent process is structured but not rigid. Depending on complexity, it can span a few weeks to several development cycles.
Initial Contact & Classification
Description of the starting point — requirement or raw material. BPS assesses whether an existing system is a fit or a new development is required.
Assessment & Concept
Technical assessment of the requirement or raw material. Proposal of a system concept or development direction. Initial statement on feasibility.
Development & Simulation
Formulation development in the laboratory. Rheological tests, substrate trials, degradation behaviour. If needed, simulation of specific deployment conditions prior to field testing.
System Readiness & Handover
Technical documentation, application instructions, quality assurance parameters. Handover as a licensable system or as a contract development result.

Choose the Right Entry Point
Tell us your starting point — requirement or raw material. We will get in touch for an initial conversation, without obligation.
You have a requirement
Briefly describe the problem or use case — substrate, location, regulatory context, time frame. We assess which system is suitable or whether a development is warranted.
Describe requirementYou have a raw material
Describe the raw material — origin, key properties, available quantity, existing analytical data. We assess the application potential in the BPS system context.
